The Grateful Threads 2024 quilt fundraiser will benefit FL Cares, a local all-volunteer non-profit organization that builds wheelchair ramps and accessible Short Steps for mobility-impaired folks of all income levels.

Ramps and Short Steps have allowed individuals to continue to live independently in their own homes. UCT members have been donating their time and energy to many FL Cares projects over the years, including the accessible steps at UCT’s front door. All monetary donations to FL Cares go directly to purchase the building materials (about $500-$600 for each Short Steps project) for folks who are unable to afford the cost themselves.

Drawing will be held on November 2, 2024, at 1:30 pm, at the United Church in Tallahassee Artisan Market. You do not need to be present to win.
